Potential Massive Overhaul of Sask. Labour Law!
While many Saskatchewan workers are preparing for summer fun with friends and family, the Provincial Government is considering changes to no less than fifteen separate pieces of labour legislation.
The possible changes are many and dramatic, yet no public hearings are planned. Your only chance at consultation is to make written submissions to the Ministry of Labour. The deadline is July 31, 2012.

Unspent PD Allocations
If you have any money in your PD fund right now and you have ALREADY purchased something but have not submitted the receipts to your campus PD representative yet please do so before May 4th.
If you have money in your PD fund and have not purchased anything yet you WILL NOT lose that money. It will roll into your flex plan account on a one time basis. You will then be able to allocate it as you see fit.
SIAST will be sending out a communication about PD allocations
