Response to Staggered Timelines

SIAST posted this statement on their page:
In an effort to provide appropriate time for the important matters involved in our implementation discussions, SIAST believes that we need to have separate staggered meetings with each bargaining unit.

SIAST also posted a letter dated December, 7, 2011 replying to the negotiating committee's last proposed MOA. No mention of SIAST management’s belief that staggered meetings with each unit are required. The MOA we presented provided timelines that would allow for staggered meetings. SIAST management returned an MOA with all timelines removed.
